MacBook Repair
Well, here in about 30 minutes I have to drop off my precious MacBook to have the vid card replaced. It’s taken them some time to get the part in and from what they said I will have to leave it for several days! That kind of stinks.
But very soon I won’t have the strange pixelated views in photos, vids, etc.
Because of this I probably won’t post very often in the next few days. But hopefully by next week I’ll be back at it.

It would appear so.
And I didn’t have the best in-store experience today either. 10 workers standing around doing absolutely nothing but I had to wait “stand-by” for a genius. And no one ever told me I would have to set up ANOTHER appointment with them, just that I would have to drop it off.
Oh well. It’s there now. Should just be a couple of days.

This is the part where we, as consumers and mac advocates (and sometimes “evangelists”), have to step up and say “Hey. This isn’t going to cut it. Macs are supposed be a higher standard. Your ‘geniuses’ are standing around talking about Jessica Simpson and World of Warcraft. Hop to it.”
I don’t want to let Apple become part of the cliche “They don’t make em like they used to”. You should let them know about your dissatisfaction, J.

I just finished my letter to Steve Jobs about it.
